Avro Heritage Museum
NOTE as the Museum is currently in the middle of a massive development all entry is controlled at the old airfield gates – use Postcode SK7 1QS for Satnav (In effect from April 2018) – almost opposite Budgens Shop. There is a new section of road inside the entrance that avoids the worst of the building site. All visitors will get an instruction sheet from the Security Guards in the gatehouse showing the route to the Museum, please do not stop anywhere on the way round to the Museum.

Unfortunately whilst building work is being undertaken on the site of the previous Woodford Aerodrome no pedestrians access is permitted
As of 10th August 2017 Cyclist Access to the Museum is restricted to Museum Volunteers. They should follow the car route and obey motoring rules. They will be asked to show membership cards at the main gate.
Free Car Parking is available at the Museum
Dogs are not allowed other than assistance dogs.
