About Gift Aid
Gift Aid enables the Avro Heritage Museum to reclaim tax from the Inland Revenue without any cost to you. You must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax equal to all your charitable donations in the tax year (currently 25p for each £1 you pay).
You will be asked for your name, postcode and house number at reception when you purchase your tickets.
If your circumstances change, and you no longer pay tax on your income tax or capital gains tax equal to the tax that the charity claims, you must cancel this declaration.
If you pay tax at the higher rate you can claim tax relief in your self-assessment tax return.
Please notify the charity if you change your address.
You can cancel this declaration at any time by notifying the charity.
Please note:
-
Friends of the Museum receive a 50% discount on all cockpit tours.
-
There is no advance booking system for cockpit tours.
-
Cockpit tours are subject to tour guide availability.
-
Outdoor cockpits are closed during periods of poor weather.
The Museum recommends visitors ring in advance to enquire about cockpit availability.
